Our ability to feel connected in the presence of other’s intimate experiences only we had thought to live and feel fascinates me. This communal phenomenon is a celebration of self and individual journey. My work emphasizes collaboration, whether it be social practice photography — focusing on the connection between the artist and the subject, or immersive installation, encouraging the audience to sit with feelings of familiarity. Both processes are invitations to participate.

The mirrors I use within my installations help us recognize the hidden parts of our being. Projection allows me to explore shared sensations and the physical and mental connections between a body and memory by investigating individuals' relationships with themselves and their environments.

I explore the idea of home and reminiscence prompted by a combination of specific sounds and imagery. I am interested in discovering the self through studies of loss, the past, memory, attachment to place, and how a person physically and mentally exists within a space.
